SugarCRM is a company that offers software that is based around open source customer relationship management. SugerCRM claims to be the leading provider of such software in the world. The great thing about SugerCRM is that their software packages can be changed to fit companies that are both large and small.

SugarCRM, because it is a type of open source crm software, can be changed by each company to fit the company’s specific wants and needs. Of course higher-end CRM software can be bought but SugarCRM and its open source software can provide the same features and benefits at a fraction of the price.

Companies can either choose to have SugarCRM onsite of at another location. Of course there are advantages and disadvantages to each of these choices. Which type a company decides to go with depends on each company’s specific needs.

The one downside of SugarCRM, and all open source software products, is that it requires that a company have an IT department that is knowledgeable enough to make the necessary changes to suit the software to what the company needs.
