Quick Reviews Of The Popular Business Contact Manager & Business CRM Solutions

In any industry, there are a handful of popular solutions that most companies or individuals will gravitate towards.  And of course in the CRM Software industry, there is no difference.  There are a number of large players in the industry and on this page we'll talk about some of the larger ones and their advantages or disadvantages.  You could also click through to a page that talks about the company and the solutions they offer.

Salesboom CRM-Summary-One of the bigger players in the industry.  Obviously, this is not a solution for a 1 or 2 man shop since the minimum users is 5 and the price per user is around $200/year.  This web based application does have some very nifty features such as lead management where you can route web leads to different salespeople.  There is also massive management reporting and pipeline management reports that are helpful.  Overall, I would recommend salesboom for a mid-sized to large companies that have uses for reporting requirements.

Salesforce CRM-Another one of the big players.  This is one of the most expensive options when it comes to CRM Software, but probably also one of the more robust.  They have options for individuals that are a little pricey at $65/user/month, but the pricing is similiar to Salesboom at $995/5 users/year.  This is absolutely a robust solution that can keep track of all leads, campaigns, and generates reporting that is helpful for management.  This is another solution I think is ideal for a mid-market company which needs substantial reporting.

ACT Customer Relationship Management Software-This is an old standby for the industry and probably the most well known of all CRM Solutions.  Act is a software program that is distributed in most big box stores and is available for purchase online.  Installed on your own computer, ACT is most popular for small businesses who want a simple way to keep track of customers and contacts.  Perfect for any small business or salesreps.  If you want a hosted solution, you would need to have the software hosted by an outside company which would be expensive.  Overall though, this option fits most businesses budget as its a low one-time cost.  Beware though, many users are reporting massive bugs in their latest 9.0 version.  Expect for those to be corrected in updates though.

Siebel on Demand-Obviously, as the name implies, this is a web-based crm that is largely used by large companies. This service starts at $70/user/month which is considerably higher than most of the other solutions out there.  This is considered appropriate for large corporate accounts and that is probably what they are after, being Oracle.  I've used this solution in a corporate setting and, while management appreciates it for its reporting, there are a number of things that salespeople would find frustrating.  For instance, it lacks the ability to be able to search prospects/customers by city.  It also lacks the ability to maintain static lists.

CRM Tassmania Software-There are many different companies that offer CRM software. One of them is Tassmania. The company offers solutions for businesses that need help with their CRM. CRM Tassmania software is not exceptionally different from other companies’ software, but the company prides itself on helping its customers out as much as possible.
