Aplicor CRM Review

Summary

Aplicor is a powerful hosted CRM and ERP focused on serving the needs of mid-market and enterprise business customers. Current users include Baylor University, Cargill, and the U.S. Department of Commerce. Itʼs fullycustomizable, with drag-and-drop editors for everything from forms to best practice documentation, but with a 10-user minimum and an extensive feature list, it may be overkill for a small business. Aplicor is the only hosted CRM solution with more than four years of 100% uptime.

Key Features

• The Only CRM to Offer a One-Click-to-Anywhere Interface
• Drag-and-Drop Visual Editors (no coding or syntax needed)
• Drag-and-Drop Workflow Designer
• Complete ERP and Accounting Featureset (in addition to CRM)
• 24/7 Customer Support (phone and email)
• Offline and Mobile Editions
• API

Platform:

Web-Based (Private Hosting, Shared Hosting, or On-Premise Hosting) Best suited for: mid-market sized companies who are willing to sacrifice some customization for a smaller learning curve (as there is no proprietary programming knowledge needed). Could a small business use this CRM? Not designed for small businesses.

Strengths:

Aplicor is focused on providing a fully-customizable experience, as opposed to an out-of-the-box solution. Instead of adapting your business processes to fit your software, you can adopt Aplicor to your business processes. You can adapt and modify forms, page layouts, and all documentation. Nearly anything, including workflows and business logic, can be customized without needing any programming knowledge.
Aplicor can be used as a full-fledged Content Management Service (CMS) and also has a built-in Document ManagementService (DMS). Users can write, edit, and share documentation within Aplicor, including new hire training, best practice documentation, and help desk answers. You can even specify which locations you would like a particular document to be accessible from; for example, you could link a document on cold calling best practices from each contact page. You can import (or extract) your data at any point with Aplicorʼs data wizard. Synchronization tools are available for Blackberry, Palm, Lotus Notes, Outlook, and Exchange. If you run into problems or questions, Aplicor provides 24/7 customer support to designated representatives via email or
phone. They also have a group of tenured coaches available for best practice or implementation consulting.

Weaknesses
Unlike other hosted CRMs, Aplicor does not provide automatic system upgrades; customers must request and schedule them. If you need additional applications or features, you must program them yourself or hire an outside programmer for the work; there are no available third-party apps for integration. While Aplicor does provide a version for on-site hosting, it requires a minimum of 100 user licenses in order to exercise this option.

Pricing
$89 per user per month (with an annual agreement and minimum of 10 user licenses). 90-day unconditional money-back guarantee.
